No time for “10,000 steps a day”? Try interval walking instead!

This 30-minute timer alternates every 3 minutes between normal-paced walking (SLOW) and brisk walking (FAST), guided by music tempo.

👣 3 min normal + 3 min brisk × 5 sets = 30 minutes
🏠 Use a stepper or step platform at home if you can’t go outside.
🎵 No need to watch the screen — just follow the rhythm.

✅ FAST: 70% of max effort (slightly breathless, but able to talk)
✅ SLOW: Comfortable walking speed

It’s recommended to do this four times a week, but I’m starting with just once a week.
Brisk walking for 3 minutes is surprisingly tough — so if I can make it to 15:15, halfway through, I’ll call it good enough!
