Hey! The Kamlan 21/1.8 is a very interesting "standard wide" prime lens for all APS-C mirrorless cameras such as Sony E, Fuji X, MFT and Canon EOS-M. So here's my review, I also compare it with two other lenses in the same price range: The new TT Artisan 23/1.4 and the Zonlai 22/1.8!

I got this lens from a follower of my channel to check it out. Many thanks to Wouter for providing your lens and giving me the opportunity to make this review! And, by the way: Focus peaking works very well with the Kamlan – this is directly connected to the sharpness of the lens!

I've got the Meike MK-XE3G handgrip on my Fuji X-E3.

Disclosure:
The TT Artisan 23/1.4 was kindly provided to me by TT Artisan to review and shoot it.
The Kamlan 21/1.8 is owned by a follower of my channel and he sent it to me so I can review it.
The Zonlai 22/1.8 I bought from my own money about a year ago.

Technical details:
All pics are shot with the 24 megapixel Fuji X-E3 edited to taste in Lightroom and exported with standard sharpness settings. However I don't correct for distortion, CA or vignetting unwise it is explicitly stated within the videos. So you can see the original character and also optical errors of the lens in the sample shots.

Actually, of all the sample photos that I show in this video, there are only TWO photos that were corrected for distortion! And NONE were corrected for vignetting, NONE were corrected for CA!
