Join us as we unveil an innovative solution developed during the Global Fabric AI Hackathon to combat food waste right in your kitchen! This end-to-end system leverages cutting-edge AI to help you make the most of the food in your fridge, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
Our solution allows users to scan products entering the fridge, which are then tracked in a virtual fridge using a Fabric Notebook. AI estimates each item’s expiry date, and when food is nearing its end, a Power Automate flow is triggered. This flow uses AI to generate delicious recipe ideas based on what needs to be used up—plus other ingredients in your virtual fridge! 🍳
In this presentation, we’ll guide you through the architecture that makes this all possible, showcasing how Power Apps, AI Builder, Power Automate, Azure OpenAI, Fabric Lakehouse, Notebooks, Semantic Models, and Reflex come together to create a seamless experience. We’ll also demonstrate the fine-tuning capabilities of OpenAI to help you craft your own custom master chef! 👨🍳
