Spectacular Milestones
The fourth part of the construction documentation for the new viewing platform focuses on the key milestones in the construction process – the heavy transport of bridge sections, the erection of the 42-meter-high mast, and the fascinating launching and final lowering of the new viewing platform at Königsstuhl.
Currently, the final welding work on the structure is underway. This will be followed by work on corrosion protection, the decking, and the handrail. At the end of the construction phase, the pathway to the barrier-free viewing platform will be completed. The Königsstuhl Skywalk is scheduled to open in the spring of this year.
