[GRID 2019] World Series Ep.7 - Showdown Full Event
BOSS FIGHT. Let's go.
Awesome map for the finale. This is the map I did my Wingman Masterclass video on, and we know where to make our plays and land our hits here.
Since the Showdown is a single 2 lap race, I have included both live gameplay and the replay footage.
Lap 1: Hard hitting takedown onto the 1st place vehicle, however our execution left us fairly knocked as well, but we get back into it without too much struggle.
We follow up with a beautifully targeted hit on his teammate, spinning him into the wall, but again, unfortunately, our execution leaves us immobile for a second.
However, we stay in the lead since both targets were disabled for an appropriate amount of time.

For the GRID World Series, I decided to go hard in and here's my mindset going in:
Race each race only one time, regardless of the result, no restarts.
Since I'm only getting 1 shot per race, I'm going to be as aggressive as I can, nothing held back. Full offensive toolkit, every race, we can't afford to lose.
No qualifying races. We work with whatever position we're given, no handouts.
Use flashbacks sparingly, only as needed. 'As needed' subject to my purview, and you can see all the mistakes I'll let fall through (Look at how I start lap #2 on the 1st race of the Tuner event..)
I'm going to be posting the full World Series Finals, with each event getting its own video.
All races will be uploaded as replays and not live gameplay because I like being able to show other vehicle positions, as well as having the ability to use slow-mo.
I don't want my uploads to end up being 35+ minutes per event just because I'm recording live gameplay for the few people who'd want it as well as replays for myself and everyone else's viewing.
It's a much cleaner experience, with the flashbacks cut out, and makes for a smoother and more interesting viewing experience.
Footage is 4K Ultra settings.
I'm pretty terrible at racing games. Playing M&K, don't have a wheel or controller. I make do.
