How to fabricate stringers (rise & run) (How to build steps)
In this video we illustrate how to find the total rise and divide it into individual risers, so that we can fabricate custom stringers out of pressure treated 2x12 lumber.
Steps usually have a minimum rise of 4" & maximum rise of 7 3/4" or 8" depending on your local building code. All steps must be the "exact" same rise (1/8" variance is tolerable, but not desirable).
