Back in 2005, I wasn’t thinking about going viral. I was just sending it off rooftops for the fun of it.

This was the raw start of my COBALTGRUV journey — no safety nets, no sponsors, just a crazy idea, a camera, and a whole lot of heart (and sore legs from all the hard landings). I put a ton of time into filming, editing, and answering comments while juggling a full-time job and everything else life threw at me. All because I loved sharing it with you guys.
After 21 years and over 4 million views, I’ve turned comments to Subscribers & Members only. I’ve matured and sobered up over time, so I’m keeping things a bit more focused these days. The comment section had its wild run — now I’m leaving it open mainly for new subscribers and those old nostalgic memories.
I don’t live there anymore, and I’m not flipping every day like I used to… but the legacy still means something. Over the past 21 years this channel has turned into a mix of old-school flips, truck builds, fishing missions, dogs, and whatever else came along.
A special thanks to my old acquaintance Jawed for giving this flip a push way back when — I hope he’s doing good with whatever he’s into these days. I was genuinely entertained by a lot of the comments over the years, and I really appreciate all the positive feedback from the longtime viewers. It’s been a fun ride.

I took a lot of pride in keeping this channel going for two decades. At almost 50, I’m not quitting just yet — I’m shifting my focus to better content and some other projects. I can still land that backflip today, but it feels like the right time to let the younger guys enjoy the spotlight while I wrap this chapter up.
