Super Contra 8 (Bootleg Game) 1 Player run
Have you ever played a bootleg/pirated NES game ever? I sure did!
And this is one of that many bootleg/pirated NES games I played. This game, which happens to be Super Contra 7 as well (gee, how original) is a pirated game made by E.S.C. Co. using the engine of either Contra or Super C for the NES, most likely the second game.
I must say, it looks and plays like Contra/Super C, but I don't know, something feels off. Maybe it's the (awful) music? Or the (poor) hit detection of some of the bosses (mainly the first one), or the (cheap) behavior of some bullets fired from enemies/bosses (again, blame the first boss)? Or those (odd) graphics? I dunno!
But guess what? The game does have cheats! Dont know all of them, but there's the level select cheat and the lives cheat, which in this game, it's not the Konami Code, but holding either the A or the B button, but not both and then pressing start! And then you get to play that many lives, fifty! And you will need them if you are a newbie on this game.
