Easy Crochet Market Bag for Beginners
In this step-by-step tutorial, I show you how to crochet a simple and practical string bag — perfect for beginners.
🧶 Materials used:
• Alize BELLA yarn — 100% cotton, 180 m / 50 g (Color 613)
• Crochet hook: 3 mm
The amount of yarn needed depends on your crochet tension.
I was able to complete this project using 2 skeins.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
If you plan to use the string bag for grocery shopping, choose a stronger and more durable yarn, preferably one that contains polyamide or nylon.
❌ Viscose yarn is not suitable for crochet string bags, as it stretches too much.
