Welcome back to my channel, for another #watercolor #painting adventure. This week we are looking at painting from reference photographs but still keeping things nice and loose and relatively simple too. You really don't have to go all out and copy exactly everything on the photograph but what we can do is improve the photograph in some way. For example on the reference pic that I'm using its a little bit over exposed, maybe because it could be the middle of the day, maybe it's in direct sunlight. In my painting I've chosen to add more warmer colours and much more saturation. So if there's something you don't like, leave it out. There are no rules!!
I'm using Fabriano Artistico rough paper and m Grahams watercolors for this one.
