One of the most demoralizing fail of a 3d printer is when you forget to check for first layers and you wake up the next day with your 3d printer hotend having a giant blob/ball. Don't be too sad, simply turn up your hotend to your filament temps then pull on slowly. You may need to first remove filament near the top of the ball using a hot gun if it's really stuck. This actually happened to me on my Ender 6 and this time my Prusa MK3S+ on ABS.
