Today I'm heading over to Ibnu's brother-in-law's house to get a message and some interesting treatment for my neck that has been killing me. Mono is a reflexologist and practices some very interesting types of treatment. One of them is a type of cupping therapy called bekam. The type of 'bekam' I'm doing today I believe is considered wet bekam as opposed to dry bekam where they wouldn't be drawing any blood. Wet cupping therapy is a technique that combines suction and blood drawing to effectively remove harmful toxins from the body. There was a little bit of miscommunication when talking about the treatment beforehand. Mono was telling me he would like to do the cupping therapy on me, which I agreed to do because I've seen it done before but never gotten it before. I'll try anything once right. But I was unaware that it involved needles and the drawing of blood. Well, I survived and after a few days, I felt much better.
