Amazon is screwing their customers again so I cancelled Amazon Prime Today
I've been a loyal Amazon Prime member for years, but today I finally cancelled my subscription . In 2025, the service has turned into an "absolute dumpster fire" .
I am paying over $100 a year specifically for the 1-to-2-day shipping promise, but lately, items—even simple ones like bathroom fixtures—are taking 10 to 14 days to arrive . If I wanted to wait two weeks, I wouldn't be paying for Prime .
It’s not just the shipping. The streaming service has become a joke, charging $20 to rent older movies on top of the subscription fee and forcing ads on us . I also discuss why physical stores like Best Buy aren't a viable alternative anymore, with their empty shelves and employees who just tell you to "check online" .
I'm tired of being taken advantage of by a company that is "too big to fail" .
