🇮🇳 INDIA WEATHER
• A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from 28th March. Under its influence, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/snowfall with thunderstorm & lightning likely over Western Himalayan Region during 28th-29th March. Isolated thunderstorm, lightning & hail very likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan & Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh on 28th March.
• Under the influence of strong lower level south-westerlies from the Bay of Bengal and other favourable meteorological conditions, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/thundersquall/lightning at isolated places are very likely over Northeast India during 29th March-02nd April with maximum activity during 30th-31st March. Isolated heavy falls on 29th & 31st March and isolated heavy to very heavy falls on 30th March are very likely over south Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura. Isolated heavy rainfall also likely over Arunachal Pradesh on 31st March.
• Rise in maximum temperatures by 3-4°C over the plains of Northwest India during next 48 hours and fall by 3-4°C during subsequent 2 days. Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-4°C over most parts of interior Maharashtra during next 2 days and no significant change thereafter.
• Dust raising Strong Surface Winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) are very likely over Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh during 29th-31st March.

Heavy falls above 100 mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Western, Central, North-western and Uva provinces.
Showers can be expected in Eastern and Uva provinces and in Hambantota district during the morning too.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces during the morning.
