'01 Audi A4 B5 2.8L Pod Filter DIY
In this episode we will be installing a DIY Pod Filter Into the 2001 Audi A4B5 2.8 engine compartment. This is an open element filter and in a future episode we will go over how to create a Pressurized housing for this filter element to get peak performance and max air flow from it.
This is a simple modification, great way to hear the induction noises and open up a few extra HP and TQ that was locked away in the 2.8L engine.
Notice this filter will be vurlnable to sucking in a lot of hot engine air as there is no shroud or air box around it so it could lead to lost HP and TQ too, Remember this Modification won't grant you massive amount of hp, its just going to let the engine breath better and that was the goal for my application for now.
