In this video we explain the LCM-LoRA paper titled: LCM-LoRA: A Universal Stable-Diffusion Acceleration Module.
LCM-LoRA stands for Latent Consistency Models with LoRA, and our main goal in this video is to explain the research journey from diffusion models up until LCM-LoRA.
We start by reviewing what are diffusion models, which are the original backbone of the top text-to-image models.
Then, we explain what are consistency models, which help to improve the image generation time.
Afterwards, we explain how latent diffusion models are different from diffusion models, which help to generate images of higher quality. We then proceed to explain what are latent consistency models.
By this point we will be ready to understand what's new with LCM-LoRA.
