The Newtown Forest Association is urgently raising funds to purchase and preserve a 136 acre prime property located at the top of Castle Hill in Newtown Connecticut. The historic property, which many consider a jewel of the town, overlooks Main Street and the flagpole. It has 100 acres of beautifully forested land, 30 acres of meadows valued for New England migratory songbirds, huge rock outcroppings and significant shoreline on Taunton Lake.
