Creality Ender-3: Installing a Clean Marlin and Configuring BLTouch

In the first part of this video, I'll show you how to flash a bootloader to the Creality Ender-3 3D printer using a USBASP programmer or Arduino UNO, and install a clean Marlin firmware from the official website.

In the second part of the video (6:41), I'll show you how to install and configure the BLTouch autocalibration sensor on the Ender-3. I'll use the original BLTouch as an example. I can't make any promises about the performance of the clones yet. For comparison, I've already ordered one of the cheapest clones.

I apologize in advance for the connection diagrams; I don't know how to draw them. I did the best I could.

I apologize for any omissions in the video:
The servo cable for extending the BLTouch wires needs to be quite long.

The Bilinear method by default tries 9 points instead of 6.

UPDATE: When editing the startup Gcode. If you use a different temperature for the first layer than for the subsequent layers, it's better to use
{material_print_temperature_layer_0} instead of {material_print_temperature_layer} in the startup gcode.

UPD_2: If you're flashing the bootloader using an Arduino with a CH340G chip and encountering issues, use Arduino IDE version 1.6.9.

On the Arduino Nano, the ICSP port is reversed, meaning the GND and 5V pins are on the USB port side.

UPD_3: The issue of the 3DTouch (Bltouch clone) dropping out when navigating the printer menu can be completely resolved with firmware. In the pins_SANGUINOLOLU_11.h file, find and comment out (put // at the beginning of the line) the line
#define BEEPER_PIN 27
There are two such lines; you can comment out both, but the first one is sufficient.

Mechanical and electronic solutions (pull-up resistors, filters, wire insulation) don't help.

BLTouch is enabled. The calibration method is bilinear, 16 points (4x4).
Please set your X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER and Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER parameters; mine may not work, depending on the mount.
