Hi! In the forth indie game devlog of Mauze Adventure, I am talking about tween animations and a simple notification system I made for the game.
Previously I have used Unity Animator based animations with keyframes, which is not the most performant way to do things and it is hard to edit without breaking things at times. To avoid that I switched the animations of the UI elements and some of the objects to tween based animations and for This I used Lean Tween. Lean Tween is a tweening animations library alternative to DoTween.
Along with these changes I made a basic notification system which queues the notifications and plays them one by one. Such as at events when an item is collected or the exit door is open.
