This is a short single handed sword from the Bright Knight series. It looks a bit like a type XIV but not exactly. The blade is about 2” wide at the base. It is also quite stiff very sharp. The ricasso section has some minor aesthetic embellishments that add a little bit of character to the blade. The blade also has three fullers cut in. Two extend all the way to the tipo and the center fuller goes ⅔ the length of the blade. I find it aesthetically pleasing personally.

The cross guard is somewhat large and has some carvings or hammer marks on it that add a little texture. The grip is single handed but could almost be a hand and a half. The grip is very large and is almost hard to grip with my hands. It is also very solid and I think it is made from a pipe of some kind. It is wrapped in what looks like a snake skin of some kind but it is probably some kind of patterned leather. The pommel is very small and looks like a nut cap but it is secure on the blade in such a way that it does not twist off.. It is not a light sword at 2lb 14oz but it feels very somewhat strange in the hand. The POB is very low for such a blade and it makes the blade feel very controllable but oddly heavy in the hand. Most of the time a person will feel blade weight in the hand it it makes a sword feel sluggish and heavy. This sword feels nimble and heavy and that is a bit odd. The extra weight in the grip brings the POB much closer to the cross guard and it gives the impression of point control. That said,it still feels strange.

It also has a leather sheath that is functional but mediocre.
