Art Projector feature on the Google Arts & Culture app
I made this video in a rush of excitement and eagerness to share (so I apologize for my “less than usual” quality!).
Google has added a feature to its Arts & Culture app that allows for Augmented Reality!! Now, thousands of the world’s most precious paintings can be brought into your living room and viewed in real-size proportions.
I hope to make a better quality video in the future, but for now, know that this feature only works on the app, not the website/desktop version. Also, you can access this Art Projector feature by clicking the “camera icon” on the bottom navigation of the main screen. You’ll see 4 total camera options, which also include the famous Art Selfie, Color Palette, and Pocket Gallery. I need a whole tutorial just for the amazing Pocket Gallery!! It’s amazing!
