Understanding Pedal Assist: Speed vs. Current on Velotric Fold 1
At each pedal assist level, the motor of the Velotric Fold 1 stops assisting you at a predetermined speed set by Velotric. This is compared to current-based systems, which provide varying amounts of motor power depending on your pedal assist level, regardless of speed. Some riders may prefer the acceleration to a specific speed, while others may prefer consistent assistance regardless of speed.
