Exporting SolidWorks to STEP
This video demonstrates how to save a SolidWorks assembly as a single part file in preparation for saving as a STEP file. Many times when providing a customer or end user one of your designs, you'd prefer not to show the full level of detail. This demonstration shows how to save an assembly as a part with only the external components visible, and then export that model to a neutral STEP file format.
