With Carson's new video coming out yesterday, and after listening to his cover of Roll Call Rap with Christian Cordes singing, I decided it'd be fun to slap it over the Season 13 Music Video. I was especially happy to do this because now I was actually pumping stuff out on YouTube and not just mindlessly browsing Reddit and DeviantArt (at least I don't have 4Chan.)

And before you ask, no I'm not a fan of doxxing and sending nsfw to kids, but he's since apologized, and I'm more than sure that Skarloey445's way more disgusting crimes will stop him from ever pulling off that type of crap again.

Okay, I really didn't need to talk about that. A huge thank you to whoever runs this channel for their HD reupload of the Music Video.

The one on the official channel was only 360p. At least the audio on that one wasn't compressed like their Roll Along upload which didn't even have the full song (unfortunately, this was the one Roll Along Thomas used for their Music Video Remix), though that didn't really matter as I was gonna put the cover over it anyways.

I initially wanted the lyrics and funnel with smoke clouds, but then I thought about the "Sir Topham Hatt he keeps an eye" part and thought it'd be better without it, so that's out of the way.

What wasn't out was how I couldn't fix the "now Stanley's joined this friendly pack" part. I make an instrumental just for that 1 ⅓ second moment using X-Minus, but then the "far away" cut off unnaturally. I tried using "Keep Backing Vocals" but it just made a crappier version of the previous instrumental, and neither of them could be used for the "Sir Topham Hatt" part since in this version it's an instrumental section with people shouting hey every beat. I can't even put it on SoundCloud, because if I do, Carson will definitely notice.

There were other little problems like how the second verse started slightly early, and the instrumental being equally as late. I don't know what happened, but I matched this as best as I could with the audio of the original.

Speed matching was shockingly not that hard. 106% worked perfectly. I honestly thought I was gonna have to tamper with the tempo a lot more.

Even though making this video was easy as it was, I really hope I don't get copyright strike for this. The song's alright as it's fan made. I'm just concerned about the footage. I'm ultimately fine if this gets the made for kids stamp. It's really just a music video. I'm not desperate for comments.

I also can't wait to get my new computer this Christmas. I'm tired of borrowing and returning my family member's crap constantly.

That's about it. Surprised that I wrote as much as I did. I had to update the description 3 times because I kept on noticing things I didn't jolt down. Guess I just like writing.

Stay safe!
