The Samsung HW-Q990F is the 2025 successor to the Samsung HW-Q990D. Besides small cosmetic and connectivity changes, the biggest difference is the new dual-driver subwoofer in this 11.1.4 setup and support for Eclipsa Audio—an open-source 3D format co-created by Samsung and Google. But are these upgrades worth paying a premium for when the Q990D performs similarly in key areas?
