Hello readers,
Looking for the best book tracking app?
For all of 2025, I logged every book I read in four different apps — Goodreads, StoryGraph, Fable, and Margins — to see which one actually enhances the reading experience instead of complicating it.
In this video, I’m ranking and reviewing each app based on usability, data and stats, social features, aesthetics, yearly wrap-ups, and overall enjoyment. Some felt like spreadsheets. Some felt like social media. And one felt like exactly how I want my reading life to feel.
If you’re looking for a Goodreads alternative, trying to decide between StoryGraph vs Goodreads, or wondering whether Fable or Margins is worth downloading, I hope this comparison helps.
Do you use a book tracking app, or do you prefer not to track your reading at all? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
Happy reading 📖
