VLAN Tag Stacking - MIKROTIK TUTORIAL [ENG SUB]
When using VLANs, the number of tags will be limited to a maximum of 4096 VLAN tags. If you need more, then we can implement VLAN Tag Stacking. Which allows us to wrap some VLAN tags into other VLANs so that the number of VLAN Tags that we can use becomes more.
By using VLAN Tag Stacking, Administrators can assign a unique VLAN commonly referred to as a service-provider VLAN ID to a client that uses several VLANs at once. The VLAN ID of the client will be maintained and the traffic from the client will be separated even though they are on the same VLAN.
