Inspector helps you identify potential security issues before attackers do — automatically and continuously
It uses AWS Systems Manager (SSM) agent on EC2 instances.
Scans installed software and system packages.
Compares them against known CVE databases.
Sends results to the Inspector console, where you can view findings by severity.
