Technical Deep Dive 💥 Tesla Battery Day
This video is technical deep dive into the battery chemistry and cell that I expect they will unveil at Battery Day. This is the second video in my Battery Investor Day series.
The chemistry I expect Tesla to describe will be a cobalt free, million mile, non-flammable, high nickel, LNMO, high voltage, single crystal coated cathode, high loaded silicon anode battery cell.
Partners I suspect Tesla to work with are Sila Nanotechnologies, Nano One, and SilLion. The chemistry they that they unveil will definitely include additives and electrolyte from Jeff Dahn, and potentially a LNMO chemistry tested at Shirley Meng's Lab.
This could lead to a battery that's up to 385-390wh/kg.
