সুইজারল্যান্ড। দেশটির নাম শুনলেই আমাদের মনে পড়ে সুইস চকোলেট, সুইস পনির, সুইস ঘড়ি, সুইস আর্মি নাইফ কিংবা সুইস ব্যাংকের কথা। এগুলোকে সুইজারল্যান্ডের সাংস্কৃতিক আইকন বলা যেতে পারে। তবে এসব কিছু ছাড়িয়ে দেশটি অনন্য আরো কিছু কারণে। মাথাপিছু আয়, নাগরিক এবং মানবাধিকার, ধর্মীয় স্বাধীনতা, জীবনযাত্রার মান ইত্যাদি নানা বিচারে পৃথিবীর শ্রেষ্ঠ দেশের তালিকায় শীর্ষস্থানে থাকা দেশগুলোর একটি সুইজারল্যান্ড।
পৃথিবীর বুকে এক টুকরো স্বর্গ বলা হয় যে দেশটিকে তার নাম সুইজারল্যান্ড। দেশটি বিশ্বজুড়ে ভ্রমণপিপাসু মানুষের কাছে অন্যতম কাঙ্খিত গন্তব্য। তবে শুধু বেড়ানোর জন্যই নয়, সব বিচারেই দেশ হিসেবে শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের মর্যাদা পেয়েছে ইউরোপের ছোট্ট এই দেশটি। আয়তনে ছোট হলেও দেশটি প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যে স্বয়ং-সম্পূর্ণ। ইউরোপের পাহাড়ী দেশগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম সুইজারল্যান্ড। এ ছাড়া সরকারের স্বচ্ছতা, মানবাধিকার, অর্থনৈতিক প্রতিযোগিতা এবং মানব উন্নয়ন সূচকেও তাদের অবস্থান প্রায় শীর্ষে। জীবনযাপনের গুণগত মান বিচারে বিশ্বের সেরা শহরগুলোর অন্যতম জুরিখ ও জেনেভা। দেশটি ইউরোপের দেশ হলেও ইউরোপীয় ইউনিয়নের সদস্য নয়। আজকে আমি আপনাদের সুইজারল্যান্ড সম্পর্কে জানা-অজানা তথ্য জানাবো।
