Art Official Intelligence is a practical, artist-first course for experienced DAZ and CGI creators who want to work with AI — without losing authorship, identity, or creative intent.
This course is not about prompting your way to finished art.
It’s about hybrid workflows where you remain the decision-maker, and AI becomes a tool — not the driver.
The course is presented and led by Drew Spence, a graphic comic writer and illustrator whose professional work is built on CGI, photorealistic image manipulation, and long-form visual storytelling. Drew creates under The Dynamic Universe, publishing digital and print comics including Force Six, The Annihilators, and Killer Butterfly, as well as hybrid projects that combine comics, video, and music. His workflows still contain DAZ Studio at the core.
This is a 4 session course, with three overarching themes:-
1. Leading the AI
You create the artwork first.
AI is used afterwards for post-work: style changes, lighting, colour, mood, and fine detail adjustments — enhancing what you’ve already made, not replacing it.
2. Being Led by AI
AI is used as a reference and learning tool, not a final output.
You study composition, lighting, balance, and visual storytelling — then recreate and improve those ideas using DAZ and your existing skills.
3. Running Parallel with AI
AI works alongside your DAZ workflow to generate assets such as:
• Backgrounds and environments
• Explosions, magic, debris, and VFX
• Props, vehicles, creatures, and scene elements
This approach allows you to create highly original, proprietary visuals that don’t rely on store-bought assets or repeated effects.
