Bricked Canon 5D Mark 3 Firmware Fix
If you have ever tried to update your @CanonUSA camera and your camera becomes bricked, an expensive paperweight, I have the solution for you!
I was working on my #Canon #5dmarkiii and seeing if I could downgrade to 1.3.4 from 1.3.6 when nothing was happening. After powering the camera off, disconnecting it from my computer, and ejecting the battery, nothing I did would allow the #camera to turn back on. So I tried a small trick, and it worked.
And Now I'm sharing the repair with you.
I was actualy going to make a video about installing Magic Lantern when this happened during testing. Did you try to install #magiclantern and that failed, so you tried to redo your firmware, and that caused your camera to fail? You can try this repair.
Note: I don't guarentee this to work on every camera. This is what worked for me. No more #brick camera
