Advice for Audiologist Job Interviews
This popped in my head after one of our students told me yesterday she had an interview coming up soon. I told her this exact thing.
Not every personality is going to fit with every interviewer or team. There’s nothing wrong with that! It’s best to know that prior both for the interviewing team and the person being interviewed!
Go somewhere you’re encouraged to explore new ideas, growing both as a clinician and person!
Find a mentor to learn from and grow. Just because you’re a doctor now, don’t go into the department as if you know everything. You’ll quickly learn how wrong you are. We continue to learn as we practice and patients benefit from that experience. Be a sponge, and most importantly HAVE FUN!
