Stannis Baratheon: The Theory of Everything
I wasn't satisfied with my Stannis coverage in "Chaos in the North," so here's a deeper look at one of my favorite characters in ASOIAF. Stannis Baratheon is one GRRM's most complex characters in Game of Thrones: easy to hate, and easy to root for. Will he succeed in taking the Iron Throne, or fail to supplant House Bolton of Winterfell? Will he burn Shireen or tell Melisandre to resurrect Jon Snow? How will Daenerys Targaryen view him once she arrives in Westeros? Stannis impacts nearly every plotline in A Song of Ice and Fire, which is why he's a key player in The Winds of Winter.
