June 2026 Communities of Practice
The June 2026 Communities of Practice meeting opened with congratulations and celebrations, followed by a recap of updates to fining authority for Child Nutrition Programs, as well as some resources for new food service managers. The team reviewed upcoming priorities, highlighted key dates on the data acquisition calendar, and covered important housekeeping items before transitioning into current hot topics. A review of the current federal and fiscal budgets were detailed, as well as proposed federal changes to the Uniform Grant Guidance. The session concluded with focused professional development on Power Query and how to leverage Excel to clean up data files.
