Dad is on his way to the sun with his family. Along the way, high in the mountains, there are spots with stunning views. Perfect for stretching your legs and having a picnic. But before Dad can even sit down, things go wrong. He loses his composure for a moment, and things go completely downhill. Our hero is completely behind the curve. But against all odds, even to his own surprise, he saves the unsustainable situation. And Dad is back at the wheel.
Commercial background:
The film was shot in Serra de Estrella, Portugal. A week before the shoot, it was minus 2 degrees Celsius and snow-capped. Our lead actor, Ian, is an English actor. He ran at least 10 km during the two days of filming. He also fell off his bike once during rehearsals. Fortunately, without any serious consequences. A Dutch stunt team worked on the film. The campervan in the opening shot wasn't planned. It belongs to Kees and Jannie, who were actually on holiday in Portugal (thanks again, though).
