11 km trek through the dense Indian forest on a railway tack to the 600m Dudhsagar waterfall. Monsoon rains had started and we got totally wet. Although I thought it was an official hiking trail we were informed that it was actually forbidden. On our way back we found a friendly ranger who took us via the very bumpy dirt road back to the railway station where we started. But we had to be careful that we were not seen because this was not allowed either, as we didn't book the official touristy jeep package to the falls. Despite the attacking monkey during lunch break, we had an fantastic time.
