Xenoblade’s Reputation and Dunkey’s Video | Reaction & Discussion
The Xenoblade Chronicles series is a beloved franchise by many people, but how is it generally viewed online? In this video, I discuss the state of the Xenoblade series, focusing on how its reputation has evolved, the online perception of the games, and how Xenoblade Chronicles 2 might have impacted the series negatively in some circles.
I’ll also be reacting to one of the most viral Xenoblade videos ever: Videogamedunkey’s critique of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. With millions of views, Dunkey’s video has shaped how many people view the game—and the series as a whole. Was his critique fair? Did it hurt the series’ reputation further? I’ll give my honest thoughts, dissect his points, and share my perspective as a fan of the franchise.
Let’s talk about why Xenoblade Chronicles continues to be such a polarizing series, how Xenoblade 2 factors into that, and what the future of the franchise might hold. Do you think Xenoblade is misunderstood? Or are its critiques justified? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
