Duck decoy carving on the
Few years ago we carved these duck decoys on the @avidcnc as a gift for my dad. He was a sportsman and had a large decoy collection. Thought it would be fun and a great way to learn how to do more organic carving on the CNC. We did a few tests using Baltic birch plywood and some final versions using curly redwood. He really enjoyed them.
I miss my Pop very much. He passed away last year from complications with dementia. We were very happy we had a chance to share these with him when he was still aware and could appreciate them.
