WEATHER Binding OPENHAB 2 Tutorial / show Weather in HABpanel / OPENHAB 2 Tutorial
In this video I explain how to install and configure Weather Binding in openHAB2 with ForecastIo.
First, you go to the ForecastIo page and create an account. Then you get the API key you need to use your weather data in openHAB.
Then we go to the Latlong page to get our "coordinates", we have to enter this latitude and longitude in the config file.
After you have entered everything in the config file you can create your items (see comment).
Of course you can also link the items in the sitemap.
To display the weather in the HABpanel we have to download the Weather-Data folder (link below).
You drop the Example.html file into the directory var / lib / openhab2 / webapps / weather-data / layouts /.
You add the complete folder Weather-Data to etc / openhab2 / html /.
After that you can, for example, in a frame in HABpanel via the link:
