How Much Does My Youtube Channel Make with 1700 Subscribers CPM Explained
I started my YouTube Channel back in December of 2017 on a random whim. After 1.75 years I have built a nice little channel of 1700 + subscribers. It took me until March of 2019 to get my channel monetized as you have to meet certain criterion:
1. 1000 subscribers
2. 4000 watched hours in the last 365 days
3. Adhere to YouTubes Policies
In this video I break down what it takes to get monetized and explain how YouTube calculates CPM which translates to ads revenue. The best formula I have been able to find for CPM is as follows: Revenue Made/ Views (in thousands) = CPM.
CPM ranges can fluctuate quite a bit from month to month and across channels. YouTubers have documented CPM's ranging anywhere from $1-2 all the way up over $10 dollars.
As we get further into this video I show you my exact $$$ breakdown and the shockingly high CPM my small YouTube channel generates for me.
