Need to connect your Xbox One controller to your Xbox One S? In this video I’ll show you everything you need to know about how to sync your Xbox controller to the console. If your controller is blinking when you turn it on that means it’s not currently connected to any Xbox.
To connect it, turn on the controller and then turn on your Xbox One S. And then almost directly under the Xbox power button there’s a little sync button. Give this sync button a quick press and the Xbox power light starts blinking. Now locate the sync button on the top of the Xbox controller and then press and hold the button until the light on the controller stops blinking.
Now in the future whenever you hit the power button on the controller it should turn on the Xbox as usual! And that’s pretty much how you sync your Xbox controller to the Xbox One S!
