10. 2020 Rimac Concept Two – 258MPH (UNOFFICIAL)
The Rimac C Two is the second model of the Croatian electric hyper car still in production. It boasts of an alleged 258MPH top end and an acceleration to about 60MPH from a stationary position in a ridiculous I.85s.
Marketing says it has a max range of 402 miles and also claimed the car completed 2 consecutive laps of Nurburgring without almost any drop in performance.
9.2020 Bugatti Chiron- 261 MPH
At roughly $3 million asking price, this is an all-wheel-drive beast that can blaze from 0 to 60 in just 2.5s and hit a top speed 0f 261MPH. It has an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W-16 engine rated at 1,479 horsepower and 1.180 lb-ft of torque.
8. 2010 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – 267.8MPH
In 2010 the year it was released, it was the fastest car in the world. It was in fact solely built for the purpose of breaking the record of the fastest production car ever built. Only 30 were produced, with each one having a power output of 1184hp and a top speed of 267.8mph which was first recorded by Bugatti test driver Pierre Henri.
7. 2014 Hennessey Venom GT- 270.4 MPH
A high performance supercar named after John Hennessey powered by a 7.0-liter twin turbo GM V-8 packing 1,244 horse power and 1,287 lbs ft of torque. It boasts of a Guinness World Record of the fastest legal car with acceleration from to 0 to 186 MPH in 13.63 seconds. It also set an unofficial record of 0-200MPH acceleration in 14.5s , beating the Koenigsegg Agera R’s time of 17.68s, thus making it the unofficial accelerating road legal car in the world.
Its top speed of 270.4 MPH was first recorded at the Kennedy’s Space Center’s 3.2-mile landing strip, but only in one direction.
6. 2011 Koenigsegg Agera R- 277.8MPH
According to Top Gear Magazine, this was the Hypercar of the Year in 2010. The Agera RS variant shattered the world record top speed in 2017 by setting a GPS-verified two-way average top speed of 278MPH and a fastest straight-line speed of 285MPH on an 11-mile strip of a closed road in Nevada.
5. Hennessey Venom GT – 300MPH(UNOFFICIAL)
With it release year yet to be decided, this super car which is a brother to the Henessy Venom GT is already set to break records. The 6.6 L twin turbo V-8 engine super car is confirmed to have a power output of 1,817 horse power and 1,193 lb-ft of torque. Top speed is claimed to be as high as 301MPH and acceleration from 0 to 186 within 10s and from 0-249MPH in 20s.
4. 2020 Shelby Supercars Tuatara- 300MPH (UNOFFICIAL)
Named after a reptile found only in New Zealand, known for having the fastest molecular evolution of any living animal, this super car is coming to give other brands a run for their money. According to the SSC North America, the manufacturing company, this beast is going to have a power output of 1750 horse power with a top speed set to reach over 300MPH.
3. 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko 330MPH (UNOFFICIAL)
This is the car that will succeed the Agera. It is named after the father of the owner of Koenigsegg, Jesko Von Koenigsegg. No official top speed in writing yet, but the 1,600hp road beast in theory can reach 330MPH with its proposed 5.0-liter twin turbo V-8 engine.
Primarily built as a high-performance track car, the Jesko will only have 125 of its kind made. And unlike the Agera, the Jesko will be sold worldwide. Matter of fact, it’s sold out already.
2. Devel Sixteen 347MPH (UNOFFICIAL)
This is a car that has been in development for more than a decade. And the reason is not far-fetched because building a V-16 with 3000 horse power is never going to be an easy job.
1.Buggati Chiron Super Sport 304.77MPH
On top of this list is the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport with an official record of 304.77 MPH. In 2019, Andy Wallace, Buggatti’s driver took a tweaked-version of the 1600 horse power 8.0- liter quad-turbocharged Chiron Super Sport for a ride on the Ehra-Lessien track where he attained a speed of 304.77MPH with the car. The speed was verified by the TÜV, Germany's Technical Inspection Association, making it the first time a production vehicle has broken the 300 mph barrier.
