Connecting Stammer to a Google Doc
In this video, I demonstrate how to connect a Google Doc to Stammer, allowing you to scrape data from the document using the Web Scraper tool. By publishing the Google Doc to the web and obtaining a shareable link, you can input that URL into the Web Scraper, giving you access to the document's content as scrapable HTML data.
The key steps covered in the tutorial include:
1. Publishing your Google Doc to the web by going to File - Share - Publish to the web
2. Copying the published document's shareable link
3. Ensuring that the "Automatically republish when changes are made" option is enabled to keep the data updated
4. Inputting the shareable link into the Stammer Web Scraper tool
I also mention that this method can be applied to other web-publishable documents like Notion, with a separate tutorial planned for that in the future.
