Hanging ab strap workout - one of the very best ways to strengthen the core.
The are so many ways to strengthen the core that to call an exercise “the best” is asking for a fight, but if I were to pick one: simple knee tucks using hanging ab straps would be it (if we don’t count squats, deadlifts and over head presses).
1) Because your anchor point is in front of your centre of gravity it’s hard just to get into an anterior pelvic tilt, so just hanging there in the correct position is an excellent way to strengthen the core. So when you add knee lifts you’re adding dynamic movement while your entire core is battling gravity to stay in the correct ‘hollow core’ position.
2) You can twist to really target the obliques.
3) You can easily increase the difficulty by moving the straps further down the arms away from you.
