4.1 Introduction to Modulation (AM): Baseband vs, Passband and why to modulate
In this lecture we introduce Amplitude Modulation (AM). we start by stating the difference between baseband and passband communications. We define modulation and explain why it is needed. The concept of bandwidth is also reviewed.
