Grinding the surface of a Ford Mondeo 1.6i engine block using a sanding wheel isn't the most professional-looking method, but it works. If your budget is tight and you can't afford to have the block resurfaced, or you don't have the time or ability to remove it, this method works. In my case, everything needed to be done in two days, and the weekend fell on a holiday, so one private contractor only agreed to do the resurfacing if I brought it in the morning; I wouldn't even have time to remove the block. So, this method is very useful.
