Master of Music in Music Education at UNCG
The Master of Music in Music Education provides students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of the historical, philosophical, and cultural aspects of music education; increase their knowledge and skill in music teaching and learning, and further develop their dispositions as reflective practitioners and mentors.
Students will acquire a fundamental knowledge of research techniques and scholarly writing standards, and learn how to apply these to their work as teachers.
Graduates of the program are well-prepared for success as professional musicians, teachers, music therapists, and a variety of other career professions.
