Frosty Winter Cumbrian Seaside Post-Wedding Portrait Session

I have known Becky for... Actually, I'm not sure! She's an incredible makeup artist and fellow wedding supplier, so naturally, our paths have crossed a few times and we've known each other on social media for a few years. Earlier in 2022, I photographed a wedding where Becky was a bridesmaid and so we got chatting about her own upcoming wedding plans.
They actually had 3 weddings... One was legal but the entire wedding celebrations were split over 3 events, with the last being a wedding blessing at Becky's parents' local church and a post-wedding portrait session with myself on the Cumbrian Coast. While I photographed the blessing this blog is all about the post-wedding portrait session that we did the next day.
Driving out west towards the coastline the fog was getting worse and the roads were for sure getting iceier and iceier. However, when we started the shoot we could see areas of blue skies and as the shoot itself went on the fog cleared giving us some amazing photographs in totally different weather conditions all within an hour-long shoot in -5C. Yet another reason why I just adore Cumbria!
