My buddy Max's 2012 Ford F150 5.0 was randomly stalling at red lights after getting the oil changed. There were two codes, a P2196, and P2198, which are both banks' sensor 1's reading rich.
After checking the air intake system, it became apparent that this issue was the result of an incorrectly installed air filter, which allowed air to leak past, causing the truck to stall in certain situations. We installed a new air filter and cleaned the Mass Air Flow, and the truck has been running fine ever since.
If your F150 has a stalling issue, or these codes are present, check your air intake system, including the air filter's installation in the air box. Many times DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) can be caused by smaller things that can be caught with visual inspection and a few minutes worth of your time.
Hopefully, this video will help someone out there. Thanks for watching.
